Pebble Pattern on the Beach

Two or three times in the last week or so I've noticed a raised pebble pattern at the edge of the water. Today, at low tide, I was able to have a look at it. It looks like the spokes of a large wheel, around 12feet in diameter, made out of pebbles and small stones. Not sure if it's recent or something that was made a while ago and has just been uncovered. The stones and pebbles look well bedded in.
Observations and photos from the sea-shore, countryside and villages around Largo Bay in the East Neuk of Fife, and from my small garden in Lundin Links. Occasional forays to other parts.

- Largo observer
- Married. Semi-retired. I live in a village on the coast in the East Neuk of Fife. Interested in the flora and fauna of this lovely area, and recording my observations of wild-life at the shore, in the countryside, and in our garden. Also, a bit about the local area and some reviews of books, concerts, plays that I've enjoyed. Although, I hope to take photos of what I see, I am not an expert photographer, however, I hope that the photos will be a good record of my observations of the natural world in a small part of Scotland.
