Do you have any idea where the name "Massney" comes from, what its relevance is to Lundin Links and how long the name has been in use?

If you know - perhaps you could post details. Thanks!

Sorry, the origin of the name seems to have been lost in the mists of time. It's possible that it's derived from a surname e.g. Masseney or Le Masney. There is also an Emsdorf Street in the village which suggests a German connection, so wonder if Massney could also have a German derivation.
