Puffins and Seals are probably the favourite wildlife sightings on any trip to the Farne Islands.
There is also a black headed gull in the centre of the picture. The island is littered with puffin burrows.
Observations and photos from the sea-shore, countryside and villages around Largo Bay in the East Neuk of Fife, and from my small garden in Lundin Links. Occasional forays to other parts.

I love puffins....one of my favourite birds....I have never seen them in the wild. They are such a comical looking bird, they always make me smile.
Seals, I think, are loved by all. I have seen many on my travels and never tire of them.......
