The Serpentine Walk in Winter

Although the trees are bare, the winter evening sunshine brightens up the scene. No sun today, very dreich but these pictures were taken a few days ago.

Snowdrops are the first flowers to appear pushing through the fallen leaves. Quite early this year.

Fungi on a fallen log, possibly sulphur polypore also known as chicken of the woods.
