Swans Nesting at Lower Largo - 2
Mute swan sitting on nest. (Click photo to see larger image.)
Had another look at the swans nesting at Lower Largo. As the female shifted position, one egg could clearly be seen. The male was in close attendance and in the photo the outline of the egg can just be seen above his head.
Love the swan....beautiful birds. My granddaughter and I feed them regularly, at a local river. They are nesting on an island there.Nice post. Thank you for your help re my little flower, I am grateful.
Hi Cheryl, Many Thanks for the comments. Glad you liked the swans and the photo of Largo Law and the cattle. Your blog is one of my favourites. There is always something, new and interesting, and beautiful photos.

Married. Semi-retired. I live in a village on the coast in the East Neuk of Fife. Interested in the flora and fauna of this lovely area, and recording my observations of wild-life at the shore, in the countryside, and in our garden. Also, a bit about the local area and some reviews of books, concerts, plays that I've enjoyed.
Although, I hope to take photos of what I see, I am not an expert photographer, however, I hope that the photos will be a good record of my observations of the natural world in a small part of Scotland.
